Hi,
Just want to inquire, I have already processed and completed my clearance and the cheque is now ready but the company is not releasing the cheque to me. They say that I still have accountabilities that I found out was not under my name. What legal action can I take to ensure this will be released. Reason i left the company is that HR and I are not in good terms. And i feel that they are still making my life toxic.
Thank you for the assistance

You have to work with them first in order to clarify that the accountabilities are not yours. If they insist and still refuse to release your check, you can go to the National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC) to file a complaint against your employer.

Just a follow up question, the completely signed clearance form is already a document that can be submitted as evidence, correct? I just want to cover my bases in case I need to pursue this as case in NLRC. Thank you!
