MARRIAGE-NULL/VOID?

I would like to know if my marriage is considered null and void because it was officiated by the city mayor not in the city hall,but the place was within the city of his jurisdiction.

we complied with all the legal requirements-we have a marriage license, cenomar, etc. yun lang, hndi sa city hall nanganap yung ceremony. in our marriage certificate pero, ang nakalagay sa city hall naganap yung ceremony.

we had more than a hundred guests and may video and photo coverage pa.

is it possible na ung marriage ko ay hindi valid? umuwi kami ng probinsya.bigla kaming pumunta sa munisipyo at nagpakasal..wala akong any papers na kinuha nila.may finil-upan lng ung wife ko then pumirma lang kami sa harap nung judge nung ceremony na..may witnesses kami pero sa side nya lang..legal age namn na kami that time..halos 1week lang kami duon..napakabilis na nangyari..di ko nga nakta ung marriage license namin..isang araw lng nangyari ang lahat..

Hi, kung ganyan nga mismo yung nangyari, yes void yung kasal ninyo kasi kailangan ninyo mag-apply muna ng marriage license. Pero hindi pwedeng basta na lang magpakasal uli sa iba. Kailangan niyan ng legal process para ipadeklara na void nga ang kasal ninyo.

Yes, your marriage is valid kahit na hindi sa city hall naganap yung kasalan. Pero yung nagkasal pwede maging civilly or administratively liable for that.

ito po situation. bago ko nakilala ang gf ko, hiwalay na sila ng asawa nya but not legally. ang dahilan po ng pag hihiwalayan nila is may kabit ung asawa nya. umamin po ang babae at ung lalake na may relasyon sila.may ebidensya po ang gf ko about sa pag amin nila..ngaun po ung kabit ay buntis na. at gusto ng idaan sa legality ang hiwalayan nila. ano po ang magndang gawin aksyon..slamat po..

I just recently know that my current common law husband has a previouc marriage. When we got together I didn't knew he was married. When I learned about this we talk about it. He says he was married in 2006 and they separate ways. He said he was 20 years of age and the girl 25 when they signed the marriage contract, it was secret marriage as per say since their parents has no idea about it and they dont have marriage license and no marriage really took place. Even their witness is faulsified. They needed a marriage contract since his school asked for it because the girl was a professor in his school. But when they seperate the girl file the contract in nso without his knowledge. He only find out it was filed when he gets a cenomar. Now after 7 years of separation the wife is demanding 120k from him for annulment purposes as she said. They didnt have a child. And threatining him that she wiĺl file a case of concubinage. We only got together last 2013. They havent been together since 2009. I have no idea he was previously married back then. We have 2 kids now. Before me he had live in partner for 4 years n have 1 kid with her but the first wife didnt bother back then. Isnt her silence for a long time same as allowing the mischief of his husband? Isnt it she doesnt have the right to demand since their marriage is void from the beginning?

1. How can he file a petiton for null n void? The marriage is not valid?

2. How address his nso data for cenomar?

3 Can this be a ground for a case of concubinage?

Gerald pareho silang may criminal violation so the courts may NOT give relief to those who do not come to court with clean hands. The best option for them is to file annulment based on psych incapacity. If they cannot live together or perform their marital obligations, there may be a deeper reason for it, which may be psychological.

Hindi naman magagamit yung nangyari noong October and Novemebr 2014 kasi hindi pa kayo kasal. Huwag ka nang makipagkita diyan sa ex mo kasi may asawa ka na. Kung hindi matanggap ng asawa mo, pwede niya ipa-annul yung kasal ninyo dahil buntis ka sa ibang lalaki at the time na kinasal kayo.

Ung tito ko po Canadian citizen tapos po naging dual citizen po sya dahil sa dual citizenship law. Nag divorce po sila ng asawa nya yung asawa nya po ang nag file ng divorce na Filipino citizen pa nung na grant yung divorce nila.

May bisa pa po ba ang kasal nila sa Pilipinas with respect sa tito ko? May epekto po ba ang dual citizenship law sa kanya? What if gusto nya po ipawalang bisa ang kasal nila? Ano po gagawin nya?

Dahil Filipino citizen pa ang asawa ng tito mo at the time na nag file siya ng application at nung na-approve yung divorce, kasal pa rin sila dito sa Pilipinas.

Kung mayroong valid grounds ang tito mo, pwede siya magfile ng annulment.
