Good day!

I would like to seek your advice on what are the resposibilities of the employer if their company driver died during an accident while he was on his way to the delivery site. Police reports says that it was the drivers negligence and not due to faulty vehicle. The employer already paid for the whole "elaborate" funeral and burial and already gave 30k worth of financial assistance to the family but the wife now demands the employer to pay for his husbands SSS/Philhealth/Pag-ibig for the next 19yrs even though the driver only worked for the company for only 4 months.
Is the employer accountable for this?

Thank you in advance and have a good day ahead!

unless fault can be ascribed to the company, the family's recourse is to claim from ECC and SSS
