I need help very urgent guys...

My wife and I just got married recently and we both are working abroad na. When we came back she receive tons of mail from her previous address about the loan she got. She actually issued a check that bounce and eventually the bank filed a criminal case.

Now the reason she didnt pay attention to previous demand letters because she had a traumatic experience from her prevous marriage which she worked out until it was annuled. She left the recent address to escape her previous husband which she eventually left the country to work.

After we received the mail my wife plans to settle it once and for all kasi she also will be coming back sa work nya abroad. Problem is we were trying to contact the numkbers sa letters pero pina pasa pasa lang kami. Sabi ng law firm di na daw nila hawak yung kaso. We eventually called the bank and gave us a number pero wala naman nasagot din.

Ang urgent question since she will fly back sa work, makaka labas ba sya ng bansa or nasa HDO na kaya ba sya?

how sure are you that the bank filed a criminal case? did she receive a notice from the prosecutor or court?

you can inquire with the bureau of immigration if she is in the derogatory list. if she is or if there is really a criminal case, i recommend she gets legal counsel to guide her.

a letter from a law firm does not necessarily mean that an actual case has been filed. i recommend she deals with the bank directly.

Hi po how can you inquire sa immigration if a person is on the derogatory list? Do they have a specific department that we can call? If yes, where can we get their number? Thanks po...

ahock, what reference number is that? that will make it easier for you to check if there's really a case by confirming with the court.
