Good Day Legal Advisers,

i am currently employed on a Big Multinational Company for almost 9 Years.
unfortunately my current company Sell it's Big shares
to other company. also we will have to transfer to the new building althou it's around 10kilometers away from our current building.

the changes are:
> Name of the company from "A" -> "B" (SEC registration)
> Building Location around 10KM away.
> Change in Management(Systems,Senior Managers,President)

my question is: if i choose not to Join Company "B"
am I entitled for a SEPARATION PAY?

because our HR explaination is that since only MAJOR STOCK HOLDER is changed there is no need for a SEPARATION PAY... and if we choose to leave the company that would be equal to juat a "RESIGNATION"...

Thank you,

Good day po, we are a distribution company but our only supplier terminated our contract so we told employees to transfer to our head office, half of employees would not resign, are we obliged to pay separation?

if they refuse to transfer, then that can be basis for insubordination. but be careful because you can be accused of just trying to evade paying sep pay
