Arresto Menor

gud day! can i ask some advice regarding my concern?

i own a house and currently it's being rented. now, i still have mails being sent to its address. unfortunately, my renter had opened and read one of my mails without any permission.

what legal action can i do about this, because it has my personal name and it was sealed.

the renter is supposed to inform or give it to me. but i found out that the mail was opened and read.

what evidence/s do i also need to get?

hoping for your answer on this concern. ty

Opening a letter of another person is a crime under the RPC, but since it is an old law, the amount of damages as well as the fine stated therein is too small and the same does not commensurate with respect of hiring a lawyer and paying attorney's fee.

Better way is to go to your barangay and have it settled.

Evidence? of course, the letter itself. ( the OPENED one)
