A case of forgery?

Hi everyone..
I just want to ask for some legal advice re: my problem. I work in a private company and I have done terrible things which i regret. I forged some delivery receipts in order to meet the rate of our rented trucking haulers. You see, our rates are way too low so in order for me to have those badly needed haulers I forged our delivery receipts when they bill and i added their desired rates. My boss doesn't know this but I know that he is already suspecting something.In all fairness to me..I didnot do this for me to make money but for us to have our operations smooth sailing. My question is..I know this is forgery and if i go to jail..how many years would be my sentence? I'll be waiting for your reply. Thanks.

that's not very smart. you should have just left the decision to management which hauler to use or what to do if there are none.

there is still falsification. they'll suspect you're getting kickbacks.
