Work Schedule

Our schedule is Monday - Friday.

Monday-Thursday: 8AM-6:30PM
Friday: 8AM-5PM

This is because instead of working 8hours a day from Monday-Saturday, we compressed it into 5 days.

I've read on Art. 83. (Normal hours of work) on the Labor Codes..
"such personnel work for six (6) days or forty-eight (48) hours, in which case, they shall be entitled to an additional compensation of at least thirty percent (30%) of their regular wage for work on the sixth day."

Since our schedule is compressed, are we still entitled of that 30% additional compensation? But if we will be computing our hours per weak, 46hours a week lang kami. Help, please.

in addition to that sir, since ngayon July6,2016 (wednesday)_ is non-working holiday. 8hrs lang daw dapat ang ma-accredit for the holiday.. so the remaining 1.5hrs namin for wednesday..i-add namin yun sa ibang days, like today mag work kami ng additional minutes para maubos yung 1.5hrs na galing sa wednesday..

We have this concern,.na baka ilang oras na kami mag-work for this coming Christmas break..Kailangan pa rin kami mag-add ng hours kasi mahaba-haba rin ang christmas break..

Medyo mahaba ang Christmas break db..Is it necessary pa rin na mag add ng hours para mabawi ang Christmas break?

Kasi 9.5hrs kami everyday, kung magbawi kami ng hours, baka 10-12 hours na kami mag work everyday Tapos regular rate pa, walang additional.

And also, sir wala bang batas para sa workers to protect us from these situations? na ang haba ng working hours namin, almost kainin na ng work ang buong araw, meron din naman kaming life outside work.

Christmas (24th and 25th) falls on saturday and sunday this year so dapat hindi kayo affected.

May batas actually for compressed work week. Ang rationale ay mas may free time ka nga dahil binawasan ang working days per week. Tapos tipid ka pa sa pamasahe.

Iba ba dati ang situation at biglang ni compress ang work week nyo?
