Good day!

Is there a DOLE rule regarding the required number of working days per week? Our company work sched is 8:30-6:00pm monday to friday but they require regular employees to work for 2 saturdays per month. Also they require probationary employees to work for all saturdays during their probationary period.

I would like to propose monday-friday, no saturday work schedule.

Please advise. thanks!

The only requirement is that there should be at least 1 rest day of 24 hrs for every 6 days worked.

Any work in excess of 8 hours per day should be paid as overtime.
