Arresto Menor

I am a regular college teacher but we our school pays us 10 months a year only. we are not paid during summer except when we have summer teaching loads. Are we entitled to a summer pay? Can we demand back wages for previous unpaid salary? We need legal advice. Please help us.

Mando, pursuant to the principle of "no work, no pay", teachers who are/were not required to furnish work during summer vacation are not entitled to receive salaries. This is consistent with the Manual of Regulation for Private Schools which is the fundamental rules being followed by private schools.
