what you are required is to provide 30 day notice so if you are asked to train your replacement within that period, then it is ok.

thanks po atty. ask ko lang po what if ung replacement was approved 5 days before or on the date of the effectivity nung 30 days notice, then isa sa requirements ng company is to provide atleast 2 weeks training. ok lng po b iextend ung stay nung employee? and one thing pa po, what if hindi siya nakahanap ng replacement, may right po b ang company na ihold ung employee n magreresign?

no,the company cannot force the employee to remain beyond the 30 days unless he is willing.
