I just wanna ask for your legal advice po atty re sa isang poperty na walang title then kasi govt. owned pa during that time that was turn over to my parents by his brother who used to squat on that place and migrated sa USA.
After they left my eldest brother lived there , and my father was able to have it documented and Rights was given to him then by the barangay who assisted him the proper procedure and awarded it to my father before his demise.
My dad died in 2004, and the rights was transferred to my mom, according sa DENR, and we are just waiting for the certificate from them. ( my mom also died now)
Now here is the problem, the wife of my uncle and his children wanted to take back the property from us for reasons only them knew.
My first Qs is, since they left to USA and became US citizen for 40 yrs now,do they have any rights to own any property here much the one i have spoken above.
Second... Can they claim back something that has no title yet during that time and even rights?
Please enlighten me and my sincere appreciation on this behalf....
