Good day. I would like to seek legal advice on what to do to our Alumni Association incident.

We remitted payment of P500 during our 10th founding anniversary with a promise of a shirt and a sit-down dinner as part of the celebration, we had the dinner but unfortunately no shirt were given and the point person to whom the other batch representatives remitted the money does not reply to our queries anymore.

Thank you.

Escalate the concern to those who are in a higher position until a resolution is proposed and applied.

Filing a legal case against them is premature at this point, since the matter can be resolved internally first.

Thank you for the advice. We are just having problems on whom to address the concern but we already set another meeting hoping that the concerned person will be there.

We are just looking for other options in case na di na talaga magpakita yung may hawak ng pera so we could discuss it to sa community at the meeting.

Depending on the amount lost, this is a civil case for collection of sum of money and the jurisdiction may either be on a Small Claims Court or the Regional Trial Court, for the matter.

During the meeting, mention to the other party that if the matter won't be resolved amicably, you are willing to take the matter to the courts. Maybe the threat of litigation will make the higher-ups act accordingly as to your concern.

Good luck.
