I have asked a friend who was an unlicensed architect to lead the renovation of our home with her team.
We made a contract with a lump sum amount of 1.5 M for the renovation, after paying her
the full amount, we found that the progress of the renovation was very slow and unfortunately not
as per what we agreed on. She keeps on saying that she is out of the budget and asked us to wait
until she will bring a solution for this. The house she left were under construction and looks like it wasn’t even
worth 1.5M.
She confessed that she used some of the money but returned.
Can I file a case against her? Breach of contract? Estafa? Damages?
