Home loan - recomputation of monthly amortization

Hi,

I have a home loan with a certain company for a 10 years amortization. Monthly amortization started on January 2014 and I already issued 3 years postdated checks to them. Due to delayed turnover of the house, I requested the company to apply all the monthly amortization I paid until the house has been turnover to me which was done on Nov 2014 and the approval of my request was sent to me on Sept 2014. So all the monthly amortization I paid from Jan to Nov 2014 will be applied to principal which was only applied this month of July 2017. I demand for them to recompute the monthly amortization based on the new principal balance as the recent monthly amortization was based on the old principal amount payable in 10 years. The company's representative replied to me that the monthly amortization will not be recomputed but my payment will lesser year.

As a buyer, do I have the right to demand from them to recompute the monthly amortization? Is the company's decision correct?
