Good Day! I was charged with BP 22. I received a demand letter and I replied to the demand letter explaining the reason for "STOP PAYMENT" issued on the 2 checks. After the demand letter. We received a "Resolution" already. I went to prosecutors office and they inform that no hearing was held because BP 22 can be directly filed in court. And we found that it was already raffled and went to Branch 3.

Is it legal that no preliminary hearing requirement in the fiscals office to hear our side and the reason for "STOP PAYMENT"? Will the court allows a "request for reinvestigation? Thank you very much
