Arresto Menor

Greetings.

I am currently employed in a small BPO/Outsourcing company in Visayas. Lately, I have been experiencing medical issues and when I went to the doctor I was ordered to resign immediately. My doctor found out that my illness is work related.

My dilemma is that I have signed a 1 year contract with the said company. And, part of the contract is an employment bond.

Will my medical condition nullify the bond? It's not like I am willfully resigning. My situation leaves me no other choice. I have the medical certificate issued by the doctor. Also, I am a little confident that they won't chase me because the company is not even legal. I have been working for 5 months for them and they only processed their license and permit two months ago. We don't even have benefits or and does not pay taxes. My concern is that they won't release my last pay and 13th month pay
(which i really need for medication and laboratories I have have to undergo..)

Please advise. IT will be very much appreciated. Thanks

i'd say you have a good chance of winning if it has to go to court
