Hi! i am working in a call center industry. I decided to serve an immediate resignation as my husband requested me to stop for the mean time. I then submitted my resignation to one of our managers. after a few days, I've learned that she didn't formally accept my resignation as she can only allow me to go on immediate resignation if it is due to medical condition. She is asking me to render 30 days more. can an employer refused an immediate resignation being given by an employee?please advise, thanks!

you are required by law to render 30 days notice, else you can be liable for damages.
