Surname problem.

my mom and day were not married when i was born. sa birth certificate ko po, ung sa mom ko po ung gnamit na surname. pero all the documents starting binyag ko until prc license ko po, surname ng father ko ginagamit ko. kasi po pina legitimate na po ako. they had civil marriage then.

ang problem po is this, kasal pa po ung fahter ko sa first wife niya, kaya nde po mabago sa nso ung surname ko. nde po ako makakuha ng passport.

ano po ba pwede ko gawin? okay lang nmn po sakin kahit anong surname ang gamitin ko, it doesnt matter nmn po. kaya lang po, sbe po xe sa city hall, sa court na daw po ung case ko kasi pinalegitimize ako e kasal pa pla ung father ko sa first wife nia.

ang akin po, pwede po ba ako magpachange of name nalang, gamit ung sa surname ng mom ko? i mean, may way pa po ba not involving court?

your nso copy of the birth certificate was stamped "legitimated"? if so, then you have to use your father's last name because that is what is indicated on your birth certificate.

nde po. recently po i got a copy of my birth certificate, there was no stamped "legitimated". ayaw po ng nso kasi po nde daw po ako pwede gawin legitimated kasi daw po kasal ung dad ko sa first wife nia. dun po sa birth certificate ko, under ng middle name: surname ng mom ko nung dalaga pa xa nakalagay. tpos blank po ung nakalagay under ng last name ko. anu po pwede ko gawin?

Hi po. I need some advice. My parents were never married and they both have their own families now.I am 23 years old now and I am using my father's last name but when i got a copy of my birth certificate from NSO, i found out that i dont have a last name on it, it was completely blank. I am using my father's last name and all my documents shows my father's last name. paano ko po maipapalagay ang last name ng father ko sa copy ng NSO?
Ano po ba mga kailangan. I really need po kasi i want to apply for a passport. Hope you can help me.

ask your father to issue an authority to use surname of the father so you can use his last name

My father is in Saudi now and he comes home every 2 years. He wanted me to use his last name too but we just don't know how to add it on NSO's file. Help please.. What kind of documents do we need. Thank you.
