Hi, ano pong pwede kong gawin para maayos yung surname ko kasi hindi daw ako sakop ng family code kaya ang surname na nakalagay sa birth certificate ko eh ung surname ng mother ko, pero yung iba kong documents eh yung surname ng father ko. Dec 25, 1987 po ako pinanganak, wala pang 18 si mama nung pinanganak ako, kasal po sila ng papa ko. May hearing pa po bang kailangan para maayos to? Kasi yung una kong birth cert eh maayos naman, kaso nung kumuha ako ng 2nd copy for registration sa hospital eh binago nila kasi wala na daw ung original copy.

Hi, pwede ba malaman kung pinanganak ka nung hindi pa kasal ang magulang mo? Bago ang Family Code 14 ang legal age para maikasal.

gudpm, I still have the same prob...I gave birth to my child year sept.2000 at hindi pa po kmi kasal nuon ng husband ko but i registered her birthcert using my surname but wioth paternal consent signed by my husband at the back of the form..after that January of 2001 we get married, unknowingly i had found out he has a previous marriage...sa mga document ng daughter namin puro surname ng husband ko ang ginagamit nya...gusto ko lang pong malaman magkakaproblema po ba ako pag kumuha ako sa NSO ng cert true copy since kailngan nya sa school, pls I need your advice, thank you po

jhovelle, if your parents got married after 1988, then your remedy is to ask your father to execute an authority to use surname of the father. if they were married before the family code became effective, then you should undergo legitimation by simply producing the marriage contract.

will I be able to get a birthcert of my daughter under my husbands name despite the fact that i registered her under my name and we got married after that at nlaman ko po na me previous marriage sya pde ko po ba ikuha anak ko ng gamit eh surname ng husband ko since ung mga sumunod na kids ko eh under my hsbnad name na po dahil me marriage cert na kmi during the time na pinaganak ko sila...pls help me ty
