i was technical staff before,promoted as sales staff, but this position is make our self uncomfortable because they have now a chance to terminate us, because if we did not make any sales within the month or got the average quota for 3 months we will be given termination letter.. ive been working for almost 4years, 2 years as technical and 2 years as a sales.

my question

ist legal for the company that they can terminate us on this grounds..
how about our regularity on this matter .

to protect yourself, you have to show that you are not being negligent in your sales efforts. keep a record of all your sales calls. the proper basis for termination is gross and habitual neglect.

forget about being a tech before. you accepted the promotion and that was 2 years ago.
