Please review the terms of our new contract.
I. TERMS / PERIOD OF EMPLOYMENT
a. Your actual start date of your employment with the Company shall commence on -----, 2015. However, for the purposes of determining your length of service with the Company, your applicable length of service with your current employer, ----- shall be recognized.
b. You also recognize that, upon acceptance of the offer, you are deemed to have voluntarily resigned from your employment with ---- effective the actual start date of your employment with the Company. You will then cease to be employed by ---- and any claims you may have against ----, as your employer, will likewise cease and/or be deemed waived.
Section A and B seems to be contradicting. Should I agree to such terms?
