can i still work even when i'm under medication?

i resigned dec 2010 in a call center. just applied last month for the same job in a different company. already started training when my x-ray was released. the company pulled me out due to a nodule found. unless i'm free of that nodule or not under any medication i'm good to go. my new company wasn't able to provide any comparison from my previous x-ray since my last x-ray was with my old company during our annual physical exam. the old company will not release the x-ray. the nodule was treated as a tubercolosis. my questions are 1. is it possible that i can request for my last x-ray with my old company for comparison? as per pulmonologist unless they detected the nodule was already existing no need to take the medication. 2. will the nodule and medication a reason for the company not to hire me even if my fit to work? pls..help...thanks po

you can request it and hopefully it will be readily available. I would think the actual xray will be at the radiologist, and only the report will be with the company.

if the company doctor recommends you are fit to work, i believe they should hire you.

i was advised already that actual xray and report will not be release to me since i'm no longer with my previous company.

i was declared by a pulmonologist fit to work but the current company doctor recommends to come back if no longer under medication.

my fear now is that, would other call center company hires me even if i'm under medication? is it a ground that companies will not permit me to work due to my inactive TB?

ask the company doctor if he will accept a certification from the pulmonologist that you are fit to work and that you are not taking medication.

TB is a serious communicable disease, but is easily treatable.
