Hi! Good day Sir,
My company is asking me to get a fit to work clearance just for 2 days absence. I can't give them one since I haven't consulted a doctor within the 2 days that I was sick.
They said that they would not allow me to come back to work unless I give them a fit to work certificate and that they will fire me right away If I can't secure the said document.

What rights do I have as per securing my job and my dignity as a worker?

Thank you.

What does your company policy say regarding absences of more than 1 day?

They are asking you for a FTW to ensure that you can actually do your work when you get back.

Generally companies ask for medical certificates for absences due to illness of more than 1 day.

first, write an email or letter that you tried to go back to work, but they refused to let you back. then may be best to go to a clinic to get a medical certificate.
