I'd like to ask if it's legal to put a regular employee on a No Work No Pay Status?
Thank you in advance.

if ayaw ka papasukin ng employer kasi wala kang gagawin, floating status tawag dun

Ano po ang take niyo dito sa argument na ito? While it is true that placing an employee on a floating status is valid for a period not exceeding 6 months, THE SAME IS NOT WITHOUT LIMITATION. "For a floating status to be valid, the law requires that the same be occasioned on the DIRE EXIGENCY OF THE EMPLOYER'S BONA FIDE SUSPENSION OF OPERATION, BUSINESS OR UNDERTAKING." Thus, for reason other than this, placing an employee under floating status is unlawful. wrote:

Or ang tanong mo ba is tungkol sa floating or sa no work no pay status kasi nga magkaiba yan.
lukekyle wrote:yes then why are you using an article from the labor code regarding floating status?
again everyone unless specified otherwise is on a no work no pay status. legal sya kasi lahat ng empleyado ay naka no work no pay status unless nakasulat sa contract nya na may sahod parin sya kahit hindi sya pumasok

First, they gave us an indefinite suspension, 30 days. Then na reinstate kami, binayaran nila yung suspension. Next is nalagay kami sa floating status, yung mag llogin logout ka lang with pay.
Now no work no pay na kami, nag start ng May 2018, going on 4 months na..

You said 30 days... then that is not indefinite. Hintayin nyo na lang na i-deploy ulit kyo sa ibang account. If not, after 6 months, entitled kayo sa separation pay.
Kung di mo matiis e mag-resign ka dahil legal yan.
