Good day po need ko po sana ng attoney para po sa kaso ng live in partner ko na nakasuhan po ng RA 9165 SEC 5 at 11. Ang sabe po kasi 0.38 grams po ang nakuha saknya na drugs sa pagkakaalam ko po kasi pasok sya sa plea bargaining at gustu ko po sana maayos ito kasi nga po sa November 04,2018 daw po mag iistart ang hearing nya. Nag araignment na po sila noong June 20 at 29, 2018. Mas mapapabilis po ba kung may sariling abugado bukod sa pao? Magkano naman po ang attorney para mapaghandaan po namin. Naka detain po sya ngayon sa bjmp Tanay Rizal. Hinihingi ko po ang inyong pag sagot.

The PAO is usually swamped with work, kaya do not expect that they can be as hands-on with your partner as what a private attorney can be.

A private defense attorney can work on your case more freely than what the PAO can do, since mas controlado nila yung oras nila kesa sa PAO who is working for the government. Moreover, the PAO represents hundreds, if not thousands, of persons with cases who cannot afford the services of an attorney, kaya better na maghire ka na ng defense attorney if your funds do permit.

The amount depends on the law firm where the attorney works, and it depends also on the usual rate on your area. There is no fixed amount that I know of in your area.

ibig pong sabihin public or private attorney wala silang pinag kaiba upang mapabilis ang kaso? akala ko po kasi kapag private ang attorney mapapabilis po example po ung hiring nya ay sa nov 4, 2018. Akala ko po kung private ang kukunin namin mas mapapaaga ung start ng hiring nya. June kasi nag araignment na sya tapos nov pa kasunud 5 months pa po. kaya naisip ko po mag private, wala po pala magiiba sa schedule. Sino po ba nag bibigay ng schedule ng hiring ang judge po ba?

Arraignment schedules are usually held on a date when the presiding RTC judge is available, since our judges usually handle a lot of cases in court, and the schedule given only shows how swamped the judges are with cases.

Hiring a defense lawyer does not automatically mean your schedule can be changed. He can, however, check with the court officials and see the current procedure being done on your case. There are investigations to be done and other steps before the arraignment happens, hence the 5-month gap.

You should ask all your legal queries with the defense lawyer you want to hire, since he can review your evidences and the case against your partner.
