Good evening Sir/Ma'am,
I am working as Chief Engineer in a Hotel Resort in Bohol. I already filed for resignation last June 14, 2018 & am now completing the Labor law required 30 days rendering. but unfortunately my employer is trying to threaten me that if I do not render another 30 days & conduct turn over to my replacement, they will file a case against me even if I have no clear liabilities that may bind me. Can they actually force me to stay even if i already completed the prescribed 30 days?
Moreover, I have the following concerns,
1. The company included in the job offer that I will have Service charge but they failed to give me the said benefit.
2. After almost three (3) months being employed with the hotel, I weren't provided a notarized copy of the contract that i signed
3. One of the owners will suddenly transfer or even remove my staff without giving me, the engineering department head proper notice.
I hope you can really give me the right advise because besides what I have told here, I pity the other rank & file employees due to the fact that most of them have been verbally abused, maltreated 7 there were reports of some of them being harmed physically.
