I have a question lang po. My nephew admitted in the hospital a week ago, last week Friday ( Nov 10,2017) the doctor said that he was fine already, The problem is that we can't pay everything as of now, We can pay but not as of now. When we asked for promissory note, hospital admins said that they won't accept it. Our room is semi-private,what should we do ? Based on REPUBLIC ACT NO. 9439 ,That patients who stayed in private rooms shall not be covered by this Act. But we are in a semi-private room. Please help us. Thank you

I believe semi-private rooms are just cheaper private rooms (same amenities a private room but shared). Hence, not covered by this RA.
