Arresto Menor

Gents, I'm new to this site. I would like to seek a legal opinion re: my case with my company. They are accusing me that I used company property though that was not the real story. I submitted my written explanation already since they issued show cause memo and the max. penalty is 15 days suspension. After I received the show cause memo they assign me overseas for about 3 months project until end of May 2017. Heard some news that they will terminate my employment with the company after my project abroad as verdict on my current case.

Q: Is it legal that they used me before terminating my employment? I work in my company for almost 10yrs since 2007.

As long as your employer's orders are without the bounds of your job description, then it is legal.

Your tenure is only a factor in the determination of the proper sanction but the same is NOT a reason for you not to be sanctioned of Termination. As long as there is substantial and procedural due process accorded to you, you can be terminated even if you are with the company of 50 or more years.
