I resigned last Jan. and I received my final pay last Feb. Three days ago they sent me an email stating i need to pay an overpayment and gave me a due date of April 17. if not sufficed, it will be forwarded to a legal team. This is a big problem because right now I am unemployed and I definitely would not be able to meet their due date. Help please. I do not know which steps to take.
I can't understand why there was an overpayment, if they made the error why do i have to face the consequences of meeting their due date?
