Good afternoon po,
What happened is my father who is based in the US introduced me to an American who was looking for people to recruit into his homebased callcenter.
So I recruited people for him but in the past 2 weeks he stopped communicating with us and it's already been a week since our salary was due.
Problem is, the people I recruited for the American want to sue me for not getting their salaries even though I had no knowledge of the American's intent to run away and had no hand nor participation in his willful denial of our pay.
Is there any merit to their case?
Am I criminally liable for what happened?
Advise po kung paano ko ma clear ang pangalan ko or what steps to take. Salamat po!!
