To our surprise, we were booked at different airplane companies, different flights and different terminal arrivals. My wife is flying 2 hours after i embark from the airport.
What i did is to inform my employer if we can fly on the same flight since my wife is not familiar with manila and was her first time to go there. He said that we only have to bare it since the gap is not that long and that arrival terminals are just near to each other (NAIA terminal 2 and 3). My wife and I are not comfortable with the arrangement so what i did is that i talked to my supplier if it's possible to move my flight the same as to my wife without charges on their part.
In short, our supplier agreed and we both flew at the same time and flight. However, because of that, My employer forced to deduct the 1-way flight expense to my salary. He said that i have to learn a lesson not to give "hassle" to our supplier.
Can i still claim my forced salary deduction? had i known earlier that this will happen, my wife and I could have declined the offer to go on that 2-day conference. Please help. Thank you!
