Somebody asked me this:

Her son is enrolled to a particular private school. On his second day of school he was involved in a fight. The mother decided for his son to stop going to that school. (this happened about a year ago.) Now, his son wanted to go back to school, so the mother went to his previous school to get his records but the school said that she still has an outstanding balance of 10K plus since she did not sign a dropping form for his son.

QUESTION: Is she (the mother) required to pay said outstanding balance (representing full one year tuition) even if his son only attended that school for 2 days)

Thank YOU!
