Can a previous employer provide highly detailed information of a previous employee during a background check done by current employer?
1.Salary
2. Reason for termination (e.g.AWOL, Tardiness and absenteeism)
3. Stating that employee is not eligible for rehire
4. Attach previous warnings during the employee's stay in the company
If such prevents an employee in securing a job and the previous company disagrees to stop providing all these information every time a background check is done, can the employee file a complaint against the company?
