good day! an employee is AWOL for more than six days, in our policy this is abondonment of work and with dismissal.
If I were to send a letter to the employee - Return to Work Order, how many days should I give him? Is 5 days enough? Is there a policy for this? Thanks

Reclusion Perpetua

"Reasonable time" is the operative phrase.

Generally that would be 5 days, or 1 week.

Send RTWO via registered mail to the last recorded residence.
