Reclusion Perpetua

Hi,

Ang ibig mo ba sabihin ay dalawang beses nairehistro ang birth certificate ng husband mo?

If yes, he will need to file a Petition for Cancellation of Birth Certificate in court. There is no shortcut to the process. Please also be careful about looking for people who will promise you to make the process much quicker as it may turn out to be fake and have more problems.

The average processing is, more or less, one year, depending on the number of cases pending before the court.

Regards,

Atty. Katrina

Go to the local civil registry of the place where his birth certificate was registered, bring the original birth certificate of the mother and father together with the marriage certificate. And ask the local civil register to change the surname
