I am a Swedish citizen living and working in Germany and I was 2006 married in Cebu to my previous wife which is Filipino and also Swedish citizen.
We have unfortunately decided to divorce and I have now meet a new girlfriend in Philippines and my question is if my previous marriage will cause any problem if I re marry in Philippines? We will receive a fully legal divorce from Sweden where the court system will approve our divorce.
Hope you can help me to sort out what is needed as the Swedish consulate in Manila also require a CENOMAR for me and I assume it will cause problem if my status is married in the document.
How can I get the status hanged in the CENOMAR to divorce so that it not cause problem for me to re marry in Philippines and or is this an requirement?
