Hi All,

I was asked to resign after 2 weeks of employment due to management not being happy with my performance. Though I have not yet submitted my resignation since I requested to have discussion with the Finance and HR officer and also explore legal avenues.

Given the circumstances, i don't wish to continue my engagement with them. However, do I have any claims that I can pursue?

Current option:
Request a termination letter- i assume this would provide more legal foundation if I were to pursue since i didn't have any formal performance review yet nor have done anything illegal to support termination.

Hand-in a resignation letter but negotiate a separation pay - do i have any ground to negotiate a separation given i only have 2 weeks employment?

Looking forward to your answers.

Thanks!
