ang kapatid ko po ay babae and due toclerical error nung ipinarehistro sya ay naging male po ang sex nya.sa ngayon po aygraduate na sya ng college at namomroblema sya dahil hindi marelease ang transcript nya sa school at hindi sya makapag apply ng trabaho ayun sa natapos nya dahil sa kakulangan sa requirements.inasikaso nya na po ang mga kailangan sanpag aayos ng kanyang birth certificate sa munisipyo kung saan sya nakaregistered. kumpleto na rin po sya sa mga hinihinging requirements kaso sabi sa kanya ay kailangan nyaa ng 7k pag pinaprocess eto sa kanila. tama po ba eto?

Hi, hindi po kailangan niyan ng court action para mapapalitan yung sex ng kapatid mo sa birth certificate. Huwag muna kayo magbabayad ng 7k unless ipakita yung breakdown ng costs kasi magkakaproblema lang kayo niyan uli kasi lalabas pa rin sa NSO yung male na gender.

I would agree po kung yang 7k ay gagamitin for publication kasi requirement po un sa batas, pero kung sa office lng ng local registrar d po aabot ng ganyan kalaki babayaran. No need to go to court n po pag purely clerical error po just execute a supplenental affidavit po to support your claim that the mistake in the gender was purely clerical and that your sister is a female since birth then submit it with the local civil registrar with the other requirements..
