Divorce in HK - Annulment in Phils

Good day everyone!

2006 nung maghiwalay kami ng husband ko dahil sa pamabbabae at pagpabaya sa amin ng 2 kong kids. Napilitan ako mag HK in 2007 para mabuhay at mapag aral ko ang 2 kong anak. 2009 Nag file ako ng divorce dito sa HK, he received the petition. 2010 lumabas ang decree. I understand that divorce is not recognized in Phils. Gusto ko lang po protektahan ang rights ko in the future. Bilang OFW, may kaunti po akong nasinop, plus may mga insurance din po ako. Gusto po sanang mag file ng annulment (may kinakasama na sya).

Question;

Ano po ba ang step by step procedure? Makaka-avail po ba ako ng PAO attorney? Maaari nyo po ba ako irefer? Gaano po
katagal ang proseso?

You don't need to file for an annulment, just file the divorce from HongKong for recognition.

What if one day I intend to get married in Philippines?

When your divorce is already recognised then you are free to marry again even in the Philippines but don't get married if it is not recognised yet! You can get married elsewhere except in the Philippines.

Yan eh depende na sa kanila hindi naman kasing tagal tulad ng process ng annulment. Be patient!
