Regularization

Good day everyone. I have been working as an ESL teacher. Next week, i will be working at this company for a year. However, i was told by our manager that if i am able to pass their assessment then i will become a regular employee. However, if i failed then they are jut going to renew my contract for another three months till i pass it and become a regular employee. My question is, am i not already considered as a regular employee since i have rendered my service more than 6 mos which is actually the probationary period accdng to the phil law? The problem is, the contract that i signed didnt stipulate any about the regularization. The reason of my boss is that we, teachers, are just so lucky because normally a teacher will be regularized after three years. However, esl school is not a regular school right? In addition, not all of the teachers in our company are education graduates nor me. How come? Pls enlighten me. Thank you so much.
