Good Day po!

Mag ask lang po sana ako..Last Nov. 18 I filed the resignation sa company ko..they received my letter with attached med cert to rest for 30 days pero they advised me to talk to my manager first for final decision. Last Nov. 21 our 13th month was released. I checked my account and learned that my 13th month pay was put on hold.

I would like to ask if it is right for my company to hold my 13th month kahit hindi pa final ang resignation ko?

talk to your manager ask them why was it on hold.

Thats unlawful. should release your 13th month pay. because that's mandatory benefits. irregardless of what undertakings you have now.

some companies hold the last pay, including 13th month pay, pag nag resign yung employee.. they hold it until matapos yung clearance process.

thank you sir for the response. I would like to ask na din po..kc i received a text message from my manager saying na nagsisinungaling ako regarding sa sakit ko kahit may medical certificate ako. She said na nakausap nya yung doctor ko and sinabi daw ng doctor ko na ako lang daw ang may gusto magpa issue ng med cert so I talked to my doctor and confirmed kung sinabi po nya yun. Ang sabi nya hindi daw po ganun ang sinabi niya..inadvise nya daw po na i have history of ulcer and need ko tlga ng rest. Can I classify po ba as insult yung sinabi niya na sinungaling ako?

Pwede na po ba nila ihold yung 13th month ko kahit hindi pa nafinalize yung resignation ko? kasi as of today I am having my sick leave pa lang po. I haven't talk to my manager regarding my resignation for final decision.

sabi mo nag file ka na nang resignation letter... kausapin mo nga ang boss mo at linawin mo.. then itanong mo bakit naka hold ang 13th month pay mo.

Opo..nagfile na po ako..nirecieve nmn nila pro sabi nila hindi pa daw po final yun..ok po kakausapin ko na lang po sila..thank you po..
