same thing happened to my friend. she was absent for more than a week but she kept on informing her supervisor everyday dahil may sakit siya. She was even asked to present medical certificate and she did. Pag pasok niya that day, sinabihan pa siyang bumenta bigtime since absent siya. there was an issue na i-teterminate daw siya due to zero tolerance so she confronted her supervisor about it. wala naman masagot sup nya. tinanong nya kung ganon din lang mas ok bang magresign kesa ma-terminate, sagot sa kanya ano daw sa tingin nya. so she felt na she was forced to resigned due to that incident. Di na niya tinapos shift nya, she forwarded a resignation via email para lang makapaglogout siya. the next day biglang claim ng sup nya invalid da ung resignation, nung pinaglaban nya na valid, walang masagot tl nya. biglang iba na sinasabi na terminated na daw siya before pa siya magpasa ng resignation. she was not even informed about it. tinanong niya what grounds, una walang masagot, sabay sabi absences daw, nung sabi nya na hindi pwede yun dahil may med cert. biglang ibang issue nanaman ung sinasabi ung zero tolerance naman. wala manlang pinarining o pinakita sa kanya na proof for that issue and wala siyang napirmahan na kahit anong warnings.
