Hi Atty! My friend has slipped disk and has undergone surgery so she filed for a medical leave. She then requested another 2 weeks leave extension for the duration of her theraphy. 3 days after she filed the leave request, her immediate supervisor informed her that the request has been denied for the reason that her theraphy does not require whole day activity so she should be reporting to work. Does her supervisor violated any labor laws on denying the extension of leave?

in order to protect herself, she should get a medical certification from her doctor and the company doctor that she should rest.
