good day po! itatanong ko lang po kung tama po ang patakaran ng aming company about sick leave kasi po ang gusto ng company namin na sa tuwing kami ay magsi sick leave dapat daw po eh sa hospital kami magpapacheck up para doon din manggagaling ang aming medical certificate dahil kung hindi po kami sa hospital magpapacheck up at hindi doon manggagaling ang aming medical certificate eh sigurado daw na madi disapproved ang aming sick leave. Ayon po ba sa batas tama ang patakaran ng aming company.

pwede naman yan. prerogative yan ng kumpanya. buti nga kayo cert lang. ung iba tlang without pay, kasi hindi naman obligado ang kumpanya na bayaran ang empleyadong wlang ginawa.

just want to ask po... ano po ba pwedeng gawin pag nakakaloko ang boss? kasi i have a friend na may sakit. two days absent sya because he was not feeling well. His boss texted him na need daw po ng medical certificate. nung nagpacheck up friend ko and got his med. and doctor's certificate pa nga, his boss said that he is not accepting daw med cert. dapat daw po ay magpaconfine kasi my friend was adviced by his doctor to take a rest for five days.his boss didn't even care to read the reason why he needs to take a rest for 5 days. so hindi tinaggap. after 5 days before po sya bumalik ng office, he was confined and hospitalized for 2 to 3 days ata.and was adviced again na magpahinga for 1 week and bumalik for check up. nung nagfile na po sya ng sick leave, ayaw daw pirmahan ng boss nya yung leave form nya. is that right? di naman po gusto nung tao na magkasit. and i think everyone has the right naman po na magpahinga pagmay sakit. i just want to know lang po kung ano pwede ikaso just incase magmatigas yung boss nya not to sign his sick leave. thanks po.

sir good day po panu po yung sickleave eh nangyari sa araw ng xmas partymay pasok po kmi nun  tapos ngtxt po ako sa area n di mkakapasok isang araw lang po un tapos po nung tumawag n po ako para sa schedule ko sinasabi po ng area manager namin na kailangan ko ng medical certificate sumakit po kasi yung ulo ko nung araw na un bakit po nung mga nkaraan eh hindi nmn po ako hiningan gusto ko lng po malaman kung kailangan po b talga yun kahit isang araw k lang nag sick leave? at nasa batas po b na binabayaran ang vacation leave at sickleave pag hindi nagamit? thanks and god bless...

IMO, It's management prerogative but the arguments is that, what if there's no nearest hospital and only clinic?I think,there's no problem securing MC even from clinic as long as it was signed by PRC licensed Doctor.

Ask ko lng po... I am on LOA since November 3, 2013... pero since Oct 25 pa ako absent sa company namin.. but on SL.. i had surgery with regards po sa endometriosis, a gynocological term (ewan). I had an operation last Nov.5, 2013... Removed were my right ovary ang fallopian tube coz i have cyst there... I have a med cert indicating i need to rest from Oct 25, 2013 - Dec. 31, 2013... Days before my operation including days of rest.. Now i thought i can go back to work and i wanted na sumahod na on Dec 15 kase magpapasko nga, so i asked my doctor to give me a fit to work dated Dec 9, 2013.. When i got to work nde tinanggap ng boss ko ung med cert saying na sagarin ko na ung leave ko hanggang Dec.31 kase sabi niya he was informed by our HR na meron daw Special Leave for Women kng saan pasok ako dhil sa nangyare saken... It's a leave for 60 days with pay for women who had gyne issues... and totoo pasok nga ako for what happened to me... so hiningan nila ako ng med docs for that and i provided it to them... tawag nlng daw ako kng kelan papasok ung pay ko for that... Now this is what happened, dhil wala pang update kase ung hr n nagsabe saken na ipasa ung med docs ko ay wala pa and is on VL, i tried researching online about the said leave.. Nabasa ko na dapat 6 months kna sa company eh 3 months p lng ako... eh gs2 ko ng pumasok kase nga hnahabol kong makasahod ng khit 5 days para sa pasko, malaking bagay n ren un... Is it gonna be a disgretion n ng company or susundin nila ung policy na un?.. kase kng nde ako pasok bkit pa hningi ung med docs ko?.. nde kaya nila nkita ung policy?.. kase dapat tlga pumapasok na ako... or merong updated law about it n khit cguro 3 months pede na... Kase ganun ung sa sick leave ng sss eh... Ewan ko magulo... Sana lng pasok tlga ako kase though i feel ok na ung surgery ko nde pa ganun kagaling at iniisip ko p ren ung hirap sa byahe with my condition...
