Vacation leave, Sick leave ( Excused or unexcused absence be considered HABITUAL ABSENCES?

Need your answers Sir/Ma'am as soon as possible!


Are vacation leave and sick leave be considered absences?? Yung company kasi namin just today nag circulate ng memo tapos they also discussed it in our daily meeting na 3 consecutive absences within 3 month period ground for suspension na din worst is termination tlga.. I asked them na yung vacation leave and sick leave considered ba na absent yun,, they said yes daw. absent daw.. to picture it out : ganito kung baga sa April nag vacation leave ka tapos sa May nagkasakit ka nag file ka ng sick leave, now sa June unexpected na nagkasakit ka or may importanteng lakad ka,, they said ground for suspension or termination na kasi consecutive na daw? Is this legal??

then mali yung wording, hindi consecutive yan. thats 3 absences within three months. i dont think its enforceable kasi mandated by law ang Service leaves. IF ma suspend ka for an authorize leave i believe you can file a complaint sa nlrc.
medyo wierd na your company is so strict about absences but binibigyan kayo ng sick leave and vacation leave? ang mandatory lang by law is yung service incentive leave. sick leave and vacation leave are given by company's discretion

tanong ko lang po kung legal bang i-salary deduction yung emergency leave of 1 day kahit may approved ng manager/supervisor mo? at bakit hindi nlang ibawas sa leave credits kung meron pa

what do u mean salary deduction? if ang tanong mo ay hindi ka ni sweldohan nung nag emergency leave ka, then pwede yun unless specifically stated sa contract or company policy na paid sya.

nakit hindi nalang nila ibawas sa leave credits? - itanong monsa HR kung bakit. hindi namin alam yung reasoning nila. kanya kanya g policy yan

what do u mean salary deduction? means kakaltasan ako ng isang araw instead na gamitin nalang yung leave credit ko. tutal approved nman sa manager yung emergency leave ko. and do have any provision sa labor code na basta nlang ibawas sa sweldo yung emergency leave ko

ang ibig mo bang sabihin eh for example monday to friday = 5 days. 4 days kang pumasok dahil nag emergency leave ka nung friday. 4 - 1 day = 3 days. binawasan nila ba yung pinasok mo? or 4 days lang pinasweldo sayo dahil emergency leave ka ng 1 day? if 4 days ang binigay sayo hindi salary deduction yun, hindi ka lang binigyan ng salary. if 3 days ang pinasweldo yan po ang may salary deduction. at illegal po yan sa batas natin

most companies unless you have a contract that specifies to the contrary has a no work no pay policy. if hindi ka pumasok walang sweldo kahit na ang binabantayan mong may sakit ay si president duterte

no such thing as emergency leaves with pay sa labor code. service incentive leave lang po.

Hi good morning. Need ko po ng clarification. I was sick po last feb 23. Nag absent po ko with my Supervisor permisson pra mkapa check up po ako sa doctor sa hospital.  Nung Feb 26 I was hospitalized. Mga 3 days. Tried to work po after 1 day rest lng. Inatake po ako ulet sa work. Nag rest po ako sa bahay after i was sent home by the Company Doctor. Bumalik po ako ng work mga March 15. With med cert from the doctor that I should have rested from feb.23 up to march15. 21days po yung approved days nang doctor.

Pero nang mag ask po ako ng SSS Sicknes benefit. Yung HR po namin computed only 1,440 as my compensation for the entire days na I was not on duty dahil may sakit ako. Wala po akong SL na thats why nag request ako sickleave benefits pra ma bayaran ung absences ko na more than 2 week excluded yung 2 Rest Day per week.

Ano po ba ang next ko na hakbang pra mabigyan ako ng tamang calculation. Mayroon po bang mga libreng abogado na makakatulong sa mga ganitong government benefits?
