how was the email opened? the account was logged in and left unattended? keylogger? the person knew the password?
violation of electronic commerce act comes into mind, but that refers to hacking.

It's a company email lotus notes. Our IT Team can open an as they admin password. we have policy allowing our IT team to open the same, is that a violation of e-commerce law?
