HI, I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW:IF AN EMPLOYEE GETS AWOL FOR MORE THAN 5 DAYS, ARE THEY STILL ENTITLED TO COMPANY/GOVERNMENT BENEFITS IN CASE THEY CLAIM FOR ANY.

you are not automatically terminated from employment by being absent for 5 days. a process has to be undergone first and it may not be justified to terminate you.

so in the meantime, yes you are still entitled to benefits but you have to go back to work.
