Arresto Menor

NOV. 2-16 I was on a leave for my wedding and honeymoon.
Dec. 17-21, I went to Cagayan de Oro, my province for a family medical emergency.
December 31 (burial of my brother),2,3,4,7..These days I was absent. I was authorized to go on leave but on the 2nd I notified my Team Leader that I could not report to work because the airfare was so expensive, I have a screenshot to present as proof. I was able to book my flight on the 8th, Tuesday, at 2,400.00 which was much cheaper than 8,000.00. When I arrived at the office, i went to the HR to ask if there is this Bereavement leave but the company I am in does not adopt the policy. I was told that my TL sent an RTWO RETURN TO WORK ORDER and because of this my salary is withheld which i should be enjoying today. Is this lawful? I lost my brother, my family had financial problem, and i was treated this way. Were those leaves not valid?
After informing my TL that i couldn't report, this was his reply via text. "Sorry, much as I want to understand, after a numerous considerations, now is not the best time you will be allowed for that. I hope you understand, You need to go back as agreed. I hope you can also fulfill your bargain. Happy birthday."Airfare was not anticipated to go that high.
Should I just remain silent on this? Please advise.

Thank you,

Does a company have a right to withhold the last pay due to unsettled cash advances?

I worked at an agency as a team leader. For us to function in our activities, I was granted cash advances (under my name) which I then distributed to my team. My team liquidates it straight to the Accounting department.

The company is withholding my last pay now because my team did not properly liquidate (or they lost the liquidations which always happens) and now I am accountable for it. They said I should have filled out a form that states I transferred the money. This form was not discussed when I was being trained.

The situation now is they would not release the last pay unless I pay for the "unliquidated" cash advances (which is 5x what I'll get if I get cleared.)
My new company is asking for my clearance asap as well, so this is really becoming a problem.

since you were in charge of the cash advance you should have made sure that everything was accounted for, how much are they asking you to pay?

I am aware that I should have been more careful, and obviously I'm LITERALLY paying for my mistakes now. So does that mean there is really no way for me to get cleared unless I pay 200,000?
