I am a minimum wage earner who receives a monthly allowance outside of by basic salary.

May i ask if i am included in the employees who should have received a corresponding increase in y basic wage plus e-cola as per Wage Order 17 (effective last June and Nov 1, 2012)?

Thanks!

YES OUR REGION IS COVERED.

i JUST WANTED TO CLARIFY IF IT IS CORRECT THAT I WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE INCREASE BECAUSE I WAS RECEIVING A NON-TAXABLE ALLOWANCE ON TOP OF THE MINIMUM WAGE BASIC SALARY.

sHOULDN'T I STILL BE ENTITLED TO THE SAID ADJUSTMENTS BECAUSE TECHNICALLY I STILL BELONG TO TH MINIMUM WAGE BRACKET.

tHANKS!

ah, if the total of your allowance and salary is at least the new minimum, imo, you are not entitled to an increase.
